The days go by faster than ever! Already heading to the middle of February! Last weekend we raced in Mackinaw City. Ryan was second and I was third in our classes. Not to bad for such a warm day on Sat. We are off this weekend due to the weather. We would have been in Wisconsin but the race is postponed. We hope the weather changes quickly. We will be in Fife Lake next weekend for a training race. Should be alot of fun.

Our lst litter of pups was born yesterday. Six beautiful yellow labs! Peggy/Archie puppies. We have several available for homes! I believe they are the best we have produced in 20 years and we have had some great ones!

We have been busy training sled dogs and racing! Ryan is holding between 2nd and 3rd place in the Internations Sled Dog Association. We have changed a few training strategies and hope they will pay off next weekend! We will be in Mackinaw City. We have enjoyed being home this weekend spending time with our other dogs and family!

We also have a couple new additons to our family. Romeo is our new medium sized (moyen ) poodle. He is 8 weeks old and a happy addition to the breeding program. Darby is our other new dog. We will have a photo of her soon. This addition will allow us to change generations around as well as produce a smaller compact dog and add two colors to our pups.

We have lab pups due next week! We may have Fl Shelby pups due the end of the month although we cannot decide if she is expecting or just chubby! Another week and we will know for sure! Sled dog racing will continue the month of Feb and then its puppy raising time at the kennel. We are even whelping a litter of sled dogs for my friend who won't be home from Alaska until after they are born! This will be a new experience for us!
